Running to replace incumbent Jim Risch

After winning the Democratic Primary, David Roth has withdrawn from the race at the request of the party. The Idaho Democratic Party is hoping that Independent, Todd Achilles will be able to defeat Jim Risch. Achilles was seated as a Democrat in the Idaho House, for the last two years, and has raised almost $700,000 for his campaign, compared to Roth's $8,600. Risch has over $1 million left in his campaign, so this will be a pitched battle that will require the support of all Idaho Democrats.
